Originally designed in 1972 for the opening of the Flos showroom in Turin, the lamp has since been updated with a new LED light source. The large bulb, partially satin finished to limit its reverberation, is housed on a bulb holder with a built-in switch and supported on a reel-like aluminium base which can also be used to roll up cable slack.
