Harry Bertoia's iconic 1950 experiment with bending metal rods into practical art produced the revered Bertoia seating collection. The Asymmetric Chaise, had never before been produced beyond the prototypical form.
Its sculptural, airy and breath-taking shape and form has meant the Bertoia Asymmetric Chaise has been considered to be a masterpiece of mid-century experimental furniture.
The frame is crafted from welded steel rods in polished chrome. Holes are drilled for the glides, and included with the chaise.
