Designed by Bertjan Pot, even the production process of this fabulous pendant is impressive. Resin infused fibreglass is randomly coiled around an inflated beach ball to create a translucent 3D mesh. The ball is then deflated and extracted from an opening in the lamp, leaving behind a unique, intricate lattice that plays with shadow while diffusing a soft glow.
Available in three sizes and in white or black, the Random pendant light from Moooi offers huge versatility and combining sizes in the same space can be quite mesmerising.
