Made in collaboration with The Baba Tree community in Ghana, the Bolgatanga Pendant Light features the intricate "Pakurigo Waves" technique, which is an expressive basket-weaving style that creates fluid, undulating forms. Each shade is crafted from locally sourced Elephant grass and repurposed PET plastic, combining the traditional skills of Gurunsi craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility.

Every pendant is handwoven by a master artisan, each bringing their own distinctive style and rhythm to the form. The result is a lively, textured design full of movement and individuality, honouring centuries-old techniques while supporting a sustainable and socially impactful project.
